With the MLS Cup only 8 weeks out, our team was tasked to build a monumental replica of the legendary Philip F. Anschutz Trophy.
Standing over 14’ tall, this structure utilized a variety of skillsets 3dx has to offer by combining carpentry, CNC machining, sculpting, and fiberglass all into one component in a very small footprint.
Old school fabrication meets new age technology.
The curved surface of the trophy added an extra level of complexity for our graphic application team.
However, with years of experience and familiarity of the material, our team successfully applied a smooth, polished finish.
